Our traditional adults-only bed and breakfast in Cape Cod offers a variety of rooms to meet your travel needs. Our costal-themed accommodations are comfortable, clean, and offer modern amenities in a laid back atmosphere. There are so many things to do in Cape Cod, and we hope to be your home base for all your adventures. The inn is centrally located and within 40 miles of any Cape destination.
The owners reside on property and manage all aspects of your visit. All guest rooms include a full (and delicious!) breakfast each morning.
Join us for complementary wine & cheese hours on summer weekends, as well as 'pop-up' cocktail events.
Whether you choose to visit all the Cape has to offer or take a 10-minute walk to Pleasant Road Beach and relax, the Tern Inn is your ideal Cape destination.
About the Innkeepers
Your hosts, John and Lisa, met in high school over 40 years ago, and their love for each other included a mutual love for Cape Cod. With young children and a tight budget, they rented small cabins for short summer stays in Falmouth.
Eventually, they rented larger houses in East Orleans before finally graduating to a house of their own in Eastham in 2005, which was their summer home and year long weekend destination for relaxation before purchasing The Tern Inn in 2021.
We continue to upgrade the property and rooms as well as adding surprising amenities. Come share or start your love of the Cape with us!
The Tern Inn Accommodations
The Tern Inn Bed & Breakfast, with its central location on Cape Cod, is perfect for your adult vacation needs. The Tern Inn is a smoke-free property and is veteran-owned. We look forward to meeting you.
The Inn has 15 unique guest rooms: 5 are located in the historic Main Inn, 6 are located in the Carriage House, and 4 are stand-alone suites. All guest rooms offer modern conveniences, private bathrooms, and include a full breakfast each morning.
Your innkeepers greet each guest upon arrival and for breakfast each morning. They are available to help create or advise you regarding your Cape Cod vacation plans.

We are only minutes away from some of the finest dining on Cape Cod. You can select from a variety of delicious cuisines, and you may be able to pick out a waterfront dining experience.
Cape Cod Activities
There are many things you can do on Cape Cod. You can relax on the beach, explore coastal lighthouses, or venture out on the biking trails.
If you love the ocean, you can sail out for some deep sea fishing, dolphin tours, or whale watching. Touring Cape Cod is a one-of-a-kind experience.
