About Our Cape Cod Bed & Breakfast
Your hosts, John and Lisa, are high school sweethearts that shared a love for Cape Cod. With a tight budget and young children, they began enjoying the cape by renting small cabins for short summer stays in Falmouth. Over time, they were able to rent larger houses in East Orleans before finally being able to own a house of their own in Eastham in 2005. It served as their summer home and year-long weekend destination for relaxation.
About the Innkeepers
After careers in large Civil Construction (John) and Early Childhood Education (Lisa), an extended period of "Covid quarantining" at their house on the Cape convinced them that the time was right to realize a life-long dream of owning an inn and becoming permanent residents of the Cape. They purchased The Tern Inn on March 10, 2021.
Our goal is to create an environment where people can relax and enjoy the Cape while staying at a beautiful, centrally located, coastal casual inn with some old Cape Cod history and charm. Please come stay with us and, fall in love with the Cape yourself.

The Tern Inn Bed & Breakfast is an adult-only destination that offers two acres of nicely landscaped grounds in a quiet residential neighborhood. Enjoy our swimming pool, patios, decks, and lawns. All of our suites have private bathrooms, refrigerators, coffee machines, microwaves, and more.
Just off of Rt. 28, The Tern Inn is peaceful, safe, and close to Chatham, Provincetown, and everything Cape Cod has to offer. No Cape Cod destination is more than 40 miles away. Spend a quiet day enjoying your surroundings or take a short walk to Pleasant Road Beach on beautiful Nantucket Sound.
