Take a STROLL!
A cherished Cape Cod Tradition

Cape Cod has a rich history of cultural and community activities. One special and charming tradition is the "Stroll". A stroll is a community event where people gather at a specific area of a village and take a walk together. Typically, this occurs in a commercial center where stores and eateries are plentiful. It is an opportunity to re-connect with humankind and enjoy a pleasant stroll with your fellow citizens - with no objective other than to connect on a personal level. Many Cape Cod towns and villages enhance the experience with musical acts and other attractions to increase the pleasure of an evening walking around a truly unique part of the world. Here in Harwich, we have our stroll every Wednesday night during the summer (and a special Christmas stroll the first Saturday in December!). Many other villages have similar events throughout the summer and holidays. Strolls welcome visitors and residents alike - all you need to do is show up - there is no admission fee!
